Karthic medical centre was started in january 2007 in the rural geography of idappadi taluk called chinnanchiyur village in kurumpatti panchayat with the intention to serve the public with advanced treatments including ICU critical care which was hitherto not available in this region before.

The uncompromising vision of Dr. Suseela Chandran to establish a 100 bedded critical care and multi-specialty hospital in this rural and semi-urban locality came into reality from that time.

The family of Dr. K. Chandran made the new locality as their residence since 2007 and the efforts to give an ethical and quality evidence based healthcare began and being continued now in its 13 the year in 2020.
